BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is inviting community members from the Hill Zone to a meeting Thursday.
The BPD CARES Series — short for Community Action Responsibility Engagement Support — is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9 at Summit Coffee at 7100 Auburn St., according to officials.
Community members in the Hill Zone can engage in conversation regarding community concerns, collaboration and empowerment, community development, outreach and partnership and community engagement, BPD said.
There are two more CARES meetings scheduled for other areas in April, according to BPD. The South Zone meeting is set for April 16 and the Metro Zone meeting is set for April 30.
