A broken water main is disrupting service to a handful of customers in Los Gatos Wednesday morning.

The Santa Clara County Fire Department started getting calls about a large amount of water flowing down the roadway on Jacaranda Way near Oleander Avenue at about 3 a.m., fire officials said.

The six-inch main belongs to San Jose Water, which is out at the scene working on repairs that are expected to result in service restoration by 6 p.m.

Only 21 homes in the area lost water service and San Jose Water is having bottled water delivered during the outage, according to company officials.

Fire officials said they haven’t received any reports of homes being flooded.
