Coroner ID’s man found unresponsive in SW Bakersfield residential swimming pool

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who was found unresponsive in a southwest Bakersfield residential swimming pool.

Coroner officials said Eid Aziz Malih, 69, was found unresponsive in a swimming pool on April 6 in a residence in the 10000 block of Vista Del Luna Drive.

Malih was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of his death.

Officials with the Bakersfield Police Department told 17 News his death appears “non-criminal in nature.”
