LOS ANGELES, CA — An entrance ramp to the 405 Freeway near the Los Angeles International Airport was closed Friday morning after the discovery of a grenade, according to a report.
The Century Boulevard entrance ramp to the northbound 405 Freeway was closed for the investigation, NBC Los Angeles reported.
Authorities were working to determine if the grenade is live or inert, according to the station.
The ramp is located about a half mile from the airport’s southwestern border and is close to two runways.
