WE’RE ON TRUXEL ROAD AND SAN JUAN ROAD, MULTIPLE DEPARTMENTS HERE. WE SAW TWIN RIVERS UNIFIED POLICE HERE. WE ALSO SAW SAC COUNTY SHERIFF HERE AS WELL AS SACRAMENTO POLICE, ALL DIRECTING TRAFFIC. RIGHT NOW, AS ALL THIS HAS UNFOLDED WITHIN THE PAST 30 MINUTES, JUST AFTER 3:30 P.M., OFFICERS RESPONDED TO REPORTS OF A SHOOTING IN THE 3200 BLOCK OF TRUXEL ROAD. IT’S REPORTED THAT THE VICTIM IS A STUDENT OF THE SCHOOL AT THAT LOCATION. RIGHT NOW, THERE’S NO STATUS OF THE VICTIM AT THIS TIME AND NO SUSPECT INFO, BUT I WANT TO POINT YOUR ATTENTION RIGHT NOW TO THIS AREA WHERE WE SAW PARAMEDICS AND FIRE CREWS ARE AT RIGHT NOW. SO WHAT YOU’RE STARING AT IS THE BACKSIDE OF NATOMAS GYM, RIGHT? THERE IS ALSO THE BOYS AND GIRLS LOCKER ROOM. SO NATOMAS UNIFIED NATOMAS HIGH SCHOOL JUST RELEASED ABOUT 30 MINUTES AGO. SCHOOL ENDS AROUND 3:30 P.M. REALLY FOCUSING YOUR ATTENTION TO THAT AREA. THAT’S WHERE WE SAW PARAMEDIC CREWS RIGHT NOW REALLY RESPONDING TO. WE ALSO SAW OFFICERS RUNNING IN THAT DIRECTION. THAT’S GOING TO BE THE BACKSIDE OF THIS GYMNASIUM, AS WELL AS CLOSE TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS LOCKER ROOM.
