SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Three suspects have now been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in San Francisco over the summer, police said.
San Francisco resident Jesus Gabriel Cendejas, 22, Oakland residents Jeremiah Neal, 20, and Elijah Silver, 19, and a fourth suspect are accused of shooting and killing a man just south of Fisherman’s Wharf in July, according to police.
Officers responded to a call at around 2:22 a.m. on July 3, after someone reported seeing a person on the ground in the area of Vandewater and Powell streets, the San Francisco Police Department said.
There, officers found a man who had been shot at least once. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died five days later from his injuries, police said.
It’s unclear who pulled the trigger in the shooting. Investigators identified the three men as suspects in the shooting and arrested them on suspicion of murder on Friday, police said.
The fourth suspect, who authorities didn’t identify, was killed sometime in September, police said.
The SFPD asks that anyone with more information contact investigators at 415-575-4444.
