Oakland Thrive Restaurant Quest: The Breakfast Club in Madison Heights
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Oct 27, 2025)
Madison Heights, MI – The Breakfast Club is a Madison Heights staple, with a cozy atmosphere and breakfast and brunch meals made with creativity and care.
Breakfast Club was one of the first reviews I did in the Restaurant Quest, back in 2016. It seemed like a good idea to pop in again to share the love.
I went with a friend who was craving a Fruit Plate with yogurt dipping sauce, and a side of bacon. With ample portions and peak freshness, the fruit was a great start to my friend’s day.

I opted for the Smoked Salmon Omelette, made with luxurious smoked salmon, capers, and cream cheese served in the pan along with hash browns made just the way I like them – soft in the middle and crispy on the outside. It also came with a choice of toast, and I loved the nice thick raisin toast slathered with butter.
I was delighted to see their tradition continued of serving up chocolate covered strawberries along with the bill. It’s a nice touch that makes visit to the Breakfast Club memorable for their guests.
The menu is full of eclectic breakfast and brunch choices, as well as classic favorites. The Purist Buttermilk Pancakes, for example, takes a breakfast basic, keeps it simple, yet does it right. Though there is also Blueberry Granola Pancakes, Salted Caramel Pecan, and Strawberry Whipped Cream Rolled Pancakes.
The Fluffy is a croissant with scrambled eggs, cheddar, and bacon. And Two Eggs Your Way does exactly what it says it does. There’s also delights like French Crepes, Crabcake Benedict, and Breakfast Enchiladas.
On the more lunchy side there’s the Lobster Quesadilla, Sweet Potato Puffs, Classic Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich, and the Coastal Chicken Club Sandwich. There are also salads like the Traverse City and the Chopped Cobb.
Kiddos have a special section of the menu that includes Grilled Cheese, Cheese Omelette, and Lucky Charm Pancakes.
The Breakfast Club is located at 30600 John R in Madison Heights. Check them out online at http://www.https://breakfast-club.restaurants-world.com
