A teen was arrested for possession of a loaded gun, police say

CORCORAN, Calif. (FOX26) — Corcoran police seized a gun from a teen while on patrol on Saturday.

Police were on patrol in the area of Hanna Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

Officers conducted a pedestrian check when they noticed a 16-year-old walking around the area.

Police say that during contact, the teen was found to have a loaded .40-caliber pistol concealed in his waistband

The teen was arrested and booked Kings County Juvenile Detention Center for several firearm violations.
