The Sacramento Superior Court has relocated its civil court operations to a new downtown facility, with changes taking effect Monday.

Court officials announced that all civil courtrooms and related services are now operating out of the Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye Courthouse, located at 500 G Street.

Public entry to the courthouse is available at the corner of 5th and G streets. The move is part of an ongoing transition to centralize civil services in the new building.

Court officials also acknowledged the role of media partners in helping inform the public about the change.

Criminal court operations are not affected by the relocation and will continue to be held at the Gordon D. Schaber Courthouse, located at 720 9th Street.

Jurors scheduled for service between Monday and Friday are still required to report to the Gordon D. Schaber Courthouse.

The court encourages anyone with questions about the transition to contact officials via email at court-info@saccourt.ca.gov.
