Officers rendered aid before Kidane was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
According to investigators, the shooting followed a fight during a gathering at the location.
Detectives said several individuals had been escorted out of the venue when the dispute escalated into gunfire.
Bolden was booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of murder.
A spokesperson for the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office told The Bee on Monday morning that the case is under review and charges were expected to be finalized later Monday.
Police said the investigation remains active despite the arrest.
