A chase ended in a deadly shooting involving deputies Tuesday morning, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said. Southbound Interstate 5, where the shots were fired, is now closed to traffic. The shooting happened southbound I-5 near Arena Boulevard in the Natomas area. A person wanted for carjacking was shot and died at the scene, and no deputies were injured, the sheriff’s office said. A KCRA 3 crew observed what appears to be a body on the road. A partition is up, blocking the view of the person on the roadway.
