BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The City of Shafter announced Forest Village Drive will be closed from Hickory Village Lane to Gossamer Grove Boulevard beginning Wednesday, April 15, through next week, April 24.
The closure will be in effect Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The city said the closure is needed to complete ongoing construction work as part of infrastructure improvements at Gossamer Grove.
