Motorcyclist killed in solo-vehicle crash in Sacramento County, CHP says

A man died in a motorcycle crash in Orangevale on Wednesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP said the crash happened on Oak Avenue, just west of Filbert Avenue. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Westbound lanes are closed on Oak Avenue. Traffic is being diverted to Filbert Avenue, CHP said. The crash is still under investigation.
