3 charged after shooting at Airbnb party in Oakland County

  • April 16, 2026

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. – Three people are facing charges after a shooting at an Airbnb party in Oakland County.

The shooting happened at 6:17 a.m. April 11, 2026, in the 1400 block of East Lincoln Street in Birmingham.

Police said a party at the home had been advertised on social media. The home was being rented out via Airbnb.

Witnesses said they heard an argument and multiple gunshots. Police found shell casings in the area, and video footage from nearby residents confirmed several people had run away from the home.

Officers said they found one person with a handgun who had fled the scene. Others were detained for questioning.

Now, three men — Larry Hunter, Jaelin Johnson, and Malik Jerome Albert Parker –have been charged with assault with intent to murder.

Each is being held on a $1 million cash bond.

All three are scheduled to return to court for probable cause conferences on April 27. Hunter and Johnson are at 10 a.m., and Parker is at 11 a.m.

At this point in the investigation, there aren’t any known gunshot victims.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Birmingham police Capt. Michael Simpson at 248-530-1770.
