Mt. SAC Relays Thursday Results
RENO, Nev. – Nevada Track and Field kicked off competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays, Thursday, highlighted by Lilly Urban’s win in the Elite section of the Mt. SAC Relays.
At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Aubrey Thompson posted a personal-best performance in the 10,000m, finishing 12th overall with a time of 37:25.38. In the 3000m steeplechase, Natalie Roberts clocked 10:59.09, finishing 97th in a highly competitive field.
At the Mt. SAC Relays, Nevada was represented in both collegiate and elite sections of the javelin. In the collegiate competition, Ava Dierolf placed eighth with a throw of 38.95 meters.
The elite javelin field saw Nevada produce a standout performance, as Lilly Urban claimed first place with a winning throw of 56.60 meters. Hallee Hughes also competed in the elite section, finishing fifth with a mark of 50.57m.
The Pack will return tomorrow for the bulk of their competition, mainly at the Mt. SAC Relays, but will be competing in three events at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
