BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — At least one person died after a report of a van that hydroplaned into an open field in Rosamond Wednesday afternoon.
The CHP’s website said on April 15, 2026, at around 2:45 p.m., there was a report of a van that hydroplaned into an open field and rolled on West Rosamond Boulevard, near 170th Street W.
The website said the coroner’s office was called.
The website also said that a power pole was damaged.
It is unknown who died or if anyone else was hurt.
