BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two Bakersfield residents were arrested in Valencia after deputies responded to a suspicious activity call and allegedly found them with meth, burglary tools, stolen copper wire, and unauthorized credit cards.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Santa Clarita Valley Station said on Wednesday, April 15, at around 1:30 a.m., a resident reported suspicious activity after noticing two people lingering near a vehicle on the 23600 block of Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia.
The department said deputies responded to conduct a patrol check and talked to the pair.
According to authorities, both were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, burglary tools, cut copper wires, and multiple credit cards that did not belong to them.
The man and woman, both described as being in their 30’s and from Bakersfield, were arrested on several felony charges and remain in custody.
