San Francisco has numerous popular night markets throughout the year, and as we near the end of 2025, many night markets are celebrating their last event before the new year. The Castro Night Market is every third Friday of the month, and this Friday, October 31, will be the last night market of 2025 in the neighborhood. With the market falling on Halloween night, it’s an especially exciting event, perfect for showcasing your best costume.
The night market will take over 18th and Castro Street in the heart of the neighborhood from 5 to 10 pm on Friday night. The night market will, of course, include numerous vendors, including food and community engagement booths. You can also expect plenty of lively entertainment at the night market, including a drag show, singer/songwriter showcase, and even a magic show. For those looking to dance, you can expect DJ Aleki and DJ Barbary Ghost to perform throughout the evening.

It wouldn’t be Halloween without a costume contest complete with prizes from Cliff’s Variety. The night market is the perfect way to start your Halloween in the Castro, and it’s conveniently located near numerous bars and restaurants in the area. The Castro Merchants Association partnered with Civic Joy Fund and CG Events to present the popular event. The Civic Joy Fund is a program from a local nonprofit that has helped organize numerous community events, including an upcoming Día de Muertos celebration and local block parties.
The last 2025 Castro Night Market is this Friday, October 31, and is free and open to the public. We recommend taking public transit to the event, as it may be difficult to find street parking due to the influx of people and closed streets.
