Two wanted suspects, Sherwood D. Johnson II (37) and Megan M. Fredrick (33), were arrested in the Liberty Lake area in the 24000 block of E. Mission Avenue on April 16.
Johnson and Fredrick were wanted on a felony California warrant for charges of “murder and willful cruelty to a child-injury/death” and were wanted on a nationwide extradition, according to the press release.
A Regional Anti-Violence Enforcement and Narcotics (RAVEN) Task Force conducted surveillance and located Fedrick at a residence in the 24000 block of E. Mission Ave, according to the press release. They then located Johnsons at a business in the 23200 block of E. Appleway Ave.

The RAVEN Task Force placed Johnson under arrest around 6 p.m. on April 16, 30 minutes prior to taking Fredrick into custody as well.
Assisted by Liberty Lake Police Officers, both were transported and book on fugitive charges by the Raven Task Force and are pending extradition to California.
