Oakland fire puts out blaze on San Leandro Street

OAKLAND — A blaze involving two RVs parked on San Leandro Street near the BART tracks has been put out, fire officials said.

Calls alerting the Oakland Fire Department to the blaze came in about 7:17 p.m., and three engines and one fire truck responded to the incident. No injuries were reported, according to Oakland Fire Department spokesperson Michael Hunt.

The Oakland Police Department is also involved in the incident. Smoke may still be visible for a while as heavy equipment crews move debris, Hunt said.
