Three people were shot, two fatally, in East Oakland on Saturday night, police said.
Officers responded to ShotSpotter activations on the 6400 block of Foothill Boulevard just before 8:15 p.m., according to the Oakland Police Department.
Officers found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene, police said. They were transported to a nearby hospital, where one died and the second was listed in critical condition.

A third victim was located steps away on the 2800 block of 64th Avenue, where paramedics confirmed she died at the scene, police said.
The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, and police said no further details would be immediately released.
