Cyclist killed after being struck by vehicle Wednesday
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Bakersfield cyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle last Wednesday.
The Bakersfield Police Department identified the victim as Moises Alvarez Robles, 83.
The incident occurred on the 300 block of Chester Avenue April 15.
BPD reported that Robles appeared to have minor injuries at the scene. He was then transported to Kern Medical, where he died two days later.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene, and speed and impairment were not factors.
