The city’s handling of its project to improve Clairemont’s Olive Grove Park, which has been underway for nearly two years, has left the community puzzled. Daily, complaints arise at the park and in the neighborhood about the project’s delay. Key areas remain unfinished, including field landscaping and replacing rusted baseball backstops. Although some sod was recently laid, the rest of the park is so neglected that weeds are already overtaking it. Will the city finally take action to complete this long-overdue project?
