A series of suspicious fires broke out in Spring Valley Tuesday night, and the sheriff’s arson unit is investigating, sheriff’s officials said.
Two fires were in large trash bins — one on Elkelton Boulevard at Delrose Avenue, the other less than a block away on Delrose Avenue near the Lanai Village apartment complex.
Two spot brush fires were also apparently set — one off state Route 125 near Jamacha Road, the other on Broadview Street near Elkelton Boulevard, deputies said.
Arson investigators were sent to the scene, deputies said.
No further information was released.
