FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Police are on the scene of a bank robbery that happened on Tuesday morning at Shaw and Palm Avenues in Fresno.
The Fresno Police Department responded to a silent alarm at the PNC Bank around 10:30 a.m.
Officers arrived and learned a lone suspect had entered the bank and pulled a firearm, demanding money from the tellers.

He took an unknown amount of cash and left the bank on foot.
The police are interviewing witnesses and reviewing security videos.
Police say detectives will be in the area for the next couple of hours, collecting evidence and looking for video from other businesses in the area.
The bank is expected to remain closed for the rest of the day.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a medical mask.
