FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The owner of Tacos El Cabezon, Armando Arias Jr., has posted an “explanation” of the recent drama surrounding him on social media.

On Instagram, the owner posted text saying he had been hospitalized at Fresno Community Hospital,

In the post he apologizes to anybody who was worries and says he “just needed some time to recover”.

Thank you to everyone who reached out and showed concern for me. I truly appreciate it. I was hospitalized at Fresno Community since last Wednesday, but by the grace of God I was released today. I’m sorry if anyone thought I was missing – I wasn’t. I just needed some time to recover. To those who spoke good about me and even those who spoke bad, I still send love to you all. God bless everyone.

Drama surrounded Arias last week after he was reported missing.

His business located in Downtown Fresno was closed, phone lines were disconnected, and customers were asking nearby businesses what happened.

Days later, the Fresno Police Department confirmed that he was found, not giving much detail besides the fact that he was alive.

A post was also found on Facebook marketplace showing his food truck for rent.

FOX26 later learned a judgment against Arias Jr. was filed in Fresno County Superior Court stemming from an Ohio lawsuit in which Arias was ordered to pay more than half a million dollars.

An attorney told FOX26 Arias took out a loan and failed to pay it back.

At his Shaw and Maroa location, the logo was taken down, and a notice was found posted on the property stating Arias owed $8,500 in unpaid rent for February and March.
