BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Several Bakersfield police officers were seen at the site of a crash in the area of Summer Spring Drive and Harris Road on Thursday night. According to reports, at least one vehicle crashed in the area at around 6:45 p.m.
Just after 8 p.m., an Eyewitness News crew saw police tape up around Bill L Williams Elementary, at 5601 Harris Road. The cause for the heavy police response is unknown.
It’s unknown if anyone was injured at this time. The Bakersfield Police Department could not be reached for comment.
