(FOX40.COM) — A vehicle crashed into a home in Sacramento on Thursday afternoon, damaging a garage, a side wall and a gas meter.
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, fire crews responded to the 7900 block of Deerleaf Drive shortly after 4 p.m. for reports of a collision involving a structure. When firefighters arrived, they found a vehicle that had driven into the garage area of the home.

Fire officials said the crash also caused damage to the side of the house and a nearby gas meter.
One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. SFD said. It was not immediately clear whether the injured person was the driver of the vehicle or someone inside the garage at the time of the crash.
No additional details were immediately available, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
