A nearby resident said he was driving home with his daughter when he saw vehicles from the medical examiner and LAPD at the scene. He later saw a body covered by a white cloth on the river embankment under the Red Car Pedestrian Bridge that runs parallel to the larger Glendale-Hyperion Bridge.
The Eastsider has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department if the incident is being treated as a homicide or not.
