Sacramento Fire Department investigators are working to figure out what sparked a house fire Tuesday morning that they call suspicious.Crews were called around 3 a.m. to a single-story house on Yampa Circle, near Norwood Avenue. Officials said heavy fire was coming from the front of the home when they arrived. People were inside the home when the fire started, Sacramento Fire officials said. No one was injured.One person told officials she was going to do laundry and saw fire in a front bedroom. Crews are investigating what caused that much fire.”At this time, we can say this is definitely a suspicious fire just because of that volume of fire in that front room,” Sacramento Fire Department Spokesperson Justin Sylvia said. Officials said they are aware of reports that there may have been an explosion or a device thrown into the window, but that has not been confirmed. They said there was a loud noise and a lot of fire. The room has extensive damage.”You can’t even make out what was where, like a bed or a dresser or anything of that nature,” Sylvia said.This is a developing story. Crews were called around 3 a.m. to a single-story house on Yampa Circle, near Norwood Avenue. Officials said heavy fire was coming from the front of the home when they arrived.
People were inside the home when the fire started, Sacramento Fire officials said. No one was injured.

“At this time, we can say this is definitely a suspicious fire just because of that volume of fire in that front room,” Sacramento Fire Department Spokesperson Justin Sylvia said.
