Re “At City Hall, hundreds fault Gloria’s budget proposal for deep cuts” (April 20): San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and the City Council should take some lessons from our city of Poway. Poway has the best street maintenance and Poway has balanced the budget for the past several years. All the city of San Diego streets near us are full of potholes and contacting the city’s Get it Done staff never helped at all.
