BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A man was arrested in Oildale last month after probation officers said they found a loaded handgun and ammunition in a search, said the Kern County Probation Department.
On April 23, 2026, Adult Mandatory Supervision officers contacted Michael Aguilar in the 100 block of Torrey Pines Lane. Aguilar is on mandatory supervision.
In a search, they found a loaded Jennings Model 25, .25 caliber handgun, and ammunition. Subsequently, Aguilar was arrested.

Aguilar is charged with felon in possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and violation of his mandatory supervision.
