BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield will add a new nonstop option this summer, with the announcement that United Airlines will begin direct flights to Los Angeles International Airport starting August 11, 2026.
The new route expands United’s presence at Meadows Field, where the airline will serve three destinations from BFL: Los Angeles, San Francisco and Denver.
American Airlines will continue to offer service from Bakersfield to Dallas/Fort Worth and Phoenix, providing additional connections for travelers.
