ASU Grand Hope Park becomes the ultimate Halloween kids’ zone from 5 to 8 p.m. with a trick-or-treat trail, puppet and magic shows, arts and crafts, carnival games, character meet and greets, a dance party and complimentary snacks like hot dogs, chips, cookies and keepsake trick-or-treat bag. 

LA Opera Presents The Phantom of the Opera — Oct. 31

The LA Opera Orchestra does a live scoring of 1925’s The Phantom of the Opera. Stay for the after party with themed drinks, a DJ and costume contest.

Foodies can opt for a culinary-forward Halloween at The Line Hotel Los Angeles where its Gishwin Dinner experience transports diners to a mystical realm through magic, illusion, cocktails and a multi-course Korean x French meal.

The H.wood Group levels up Halloween party expectations with a bash featuring a headlining set by DJ powerhouse Kaytranada with support from DJ Kitty Ca$h. Admission also includes access to a hosted bar.

The Long Beach hotel’s rooftop bar commemorates its first Halloween with a costume contest, zombie drinks and savory small plates like wagyu brisket tacos and elote bowls. The next night, at Alter Ego, it presents a night of live music, storytelling, special cocktails and remembrance for Día de Los Muertos.

Wags & Walks Neighborhood Social — Nov. 2

Wags & Walks brings out all of the stops for its first Neighborhood Social. A community event raising funds for rescue dogs. The afternoon treats Angelenos and their pups to canine acupuncture, a snow-filled play zone, pottery classes, pizza for dogs from JustFoodForDogs and Pizzana, Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails, a Pups & People Salon by Paul Mitchell and Bark Bus and more.
