KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii—Moa Andersson shot a 1-under 72 in the final round of the Nanea Invitational as the San José women’s golf team finished ninth at the par-73 Nanea Golf Club.

Andersson finished tied for 30th at 1-over 220. She made four birdies on Wednesday to help her jump up seven places in the standings.
Kleopatra Kozakiewicz tied for 32nd at 2-over 221, shooting a 4-over 77 in the final round.
Ting-Yu Chang and Regina Roldan tied for 42nd at 6-over 225. Chang shot a 77, while Roldan recorded a 78 in the final round.
Lotte Schuhr tied for 49th at 11-over 230, with an 81 in the final round. 
San José State finished ninth in the tournament that featured seven teams ranked among the top-45 teams in the country.

UP NEXT – The Spartans take a break for the fall semester academics before returning to competition at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, February 1-3, at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.
