A body was found in a Farmington Hills park Sunday, though police haven’t released much information about it yet.

A statement from Police Chief John Piggott confirms that a body was discovered in Woodland Hills park.

“The investigation remains in its early stages, and officers continue to process the scene. Authorities emphasize that there is no current threat to public safety, and the park has been cleared,” Piggott stated.

Piggott also stated that more information will be shared as the investigation develops.

Woodland Hills is a 74-acre nature park off Farmington Road, just south of I-696.
