Watts owns Quality Auto Sales in Detroit, with an office located just minutes from his home. He is also the founder of a youth mentoring program called “Boys 2 Men” and serves as president of the Lathrup Village Chamber of Commerce.

On May 5, Watts was arraigned in court and was charged with three counts of receiving or concealing a stolen motor vehicle and one count of forged license documents or plates.

The investigation began on April 29 after police conducted a traffic stop on Watts and learned he was allegedly driving a retagged stolen car.

On May 4, officers conducted a business inspection at Quality Auto Sales, where they allegedly found two retagged stolen cars.

Police then searched Watts’ home and found a car on his property that had a reportedly stolen license plate.

Watts entered a not guilty plea, and he was given a $25,000 personal bond.
