A 27-year-old man was arrested Friday after allegedly striking a man in the head with a computer monitor at the Burbank Central Library.
Burbank Police told NBC4 Investigates that officers rushed to the library at about 1 p.m. Friday for a battery call. When they got there, officers learned that 27-year-old Marvin Anderson had, without provocation, picked up a desktop computer monitor and struck a 56-year-old victim in the head with the monitor, police said
Anderson was still in the library when officers arrived. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon
The victim told officers he would seek his own medical treatment. Anderson is still in custody on a no-bail hold.
