BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Be Finally Free is supporting mothers who may be dealing with difficult circumstances this Mother’s Day.
The organization is hosting a Healing Heart Mother’s Day event on Saturday May 9 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at The Mission at Kern County.
The event hopes to celebrate local mothers and help them connect with the support they need.
The goal is to honor women who may have lost children, have a child struggling with addiction or are dealing with difficult relationships with their children.

The event is free for the community to attend and will feature comedian Nazareth.
