A woman was shot on Tuesday and walked herself to a San Francisco hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
San Francisco police responded at about 4:35 p.m. to the 2300 block of O’Farrell Street, near where Kaiser Medical Center is located, on reports of a person suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police found that the woman had been inside a vehicle on the 1100 block of Turk Street, near Jefferson Square Park, when she suddenly heard several gunshots and realized she’d been struck. The hospital is about a mile from where she was shot.
Police did not disclose where the victim was hit.
No arrests have been made, authorities said. Anyone with information is asked to call SFPD at 415-575-4444.
