SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A pedestrian was struck and killed on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles, prompting the closure of several northbound lanes and backing up traffic for miles Thursday morning.
The incident was reported just before 6 a.m. at Manchester Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. Details about what led up to the crash were limited.
AIR7 was over the scene where traffic was backed up for miles, snarling the morning commute.
The CHP said the three center lanes would be closed for an unknown amount of time.
