
MWC opponents meet when the San Jose State Spartans (2-5) and the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (6-2) square off on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at CEFCU Stadium.
The Spartans were beaten by the Utah State Aggies 30-25 in their last game. Their last time out, the Rainbow Warriors knocked off the Colorado State Rams 31-19.
Walker Eget threw for 340 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions on 27-of-49 passing (55.1%) for the Spartans in that matchup against the Aggies. Steve Chavez-Soto rushed for 102 yards on 11 carries (9.3 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding one reception for 17 yards. Leland Smith led the receiving charge against the Aggies, catching four passes for 116 yards and one touchdown.
Micah Alejado’s showing for the Warriors against the Rams included 26-of-38 passing for 301 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He rushed nine times for 21 yards. Landon Sims carried the ball 12 times for 59 yards. He caught three passes for nine yards. Jackson Harris caught five passes on nine targets for 109 yards (21.8 yards per reception), and scored two touchdowns.
The Spartans (-1.5) are slight favorites in their matchup against the Rainbow Warriors. The over/under is 57.5 points.
