At least one person has died after an early morning crash on San Joaquin County on Thursday.
The crash was first reported just before 4 a.m. along Kasson Road, south of Durham Ferry Road.
Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear, but it appears that a vehicle crashed into a power pole. The vehicle then caught fire and was engulfed in flames.

California Highway Patrol confirmed that a person died in the crash. No other details about the person have been released.
Due to the crash and investigation, Kasson Road was closed through the early morning hours.
