A Place to Heal Your heART.
For a limited time, the St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus in Los Angeles has been completely reimagined as the Hospital of Emotions. In a rare and groundbreaking art event, 70 artists from diverse creative fields have taken over an actual hospital building, transforming it into a surreal, multi-sensory landscape exploring the full spectrum of human emotion.
Visitors are invited to walk the corridors and step behind the doors of 80 distinct rooms across 4 floors. From operating theaters and ER spaces to patient rooms and nurses’ stations, each space has been entirely reclaimed by a different artist. The building itself is the canvas.
Explore 8 distinct “Departments of Emotions” wandering through unexpected environments dedicated to Joy, Love, Fear, Anger, Hope, Sadness, Gratitude, and Resilience.
Whether you are an art lover, an advocate for mental health awareness, or simply looking for the most unique weekend experience in Los Angeles, the Hospital of Emotions is a powerful, highly visual journey you won’t want to miss.
