A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Florin area, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP said the crash happened near Power Inn Road and Judette Avenue. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with law enforcement.It’s unknown if alcohol was a factor.Authorities did not release the identity of the pedestrian.This is a developing story. FLORIN, Calif. —

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Florin area, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP said the crash happened near Power Inn Road and Judette Avenue.

The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with law enforcement.

It’s unknown if alcohol was a factor.

Authorities did not release the identity of the pedestrian.
