BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield’s Relay for Life has brought the community together to offer support to those whose lives have been impacted by Cancer for more than 30 years.
The event is now one of the largest in the county, raising critical funds for cancer research and offering support to survivors.
Today, May 8, Relay USA is hosting a virtual relay to allow anyone to become a part of the movement.
Tina Carmona with the American Cancer Society joined ARC Bakersfield to share how the organization makes an impact in the fight against cancer.
