ALL RIGHT. SO IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A ONE OF A KIND GIFT FOR MOTHER’S DAY, MAYBE EVEN GRADUATION. WELL, THE OLD SACRAMENTO WATERFRONT MIGHT BE THE PLACE FOR YOU THIS MONTH, OFFICIALLY KICKING OFF THEIR MAY MAKERS INITIATIVE TO CELEBRATE LOCAL ARTISANS AND CREATIVES. CLAYTON, LET’S START WITH YOU. WHAT MAKES THE WATERFRONT JUST A PERFECT PLACE FOR FOR A PROMOTION LIKE THIS? SO THE OLD SACRAMENTO WATERFRONT IS A HISTORIC DISTRICT COMPRISED OF 120 PLUS SMALL BUSINESSES. AND I CAN TELL YOU PERSONALLY THAT I THAT MOST OF THOSE BUSINESSES ARE OWNED AND OPERATED BY VERY CREATIVE, HARDWORKING PEOPLE. AND SO WE WANT TO COME UP WITH PROMOTIONS FROM MONTH TO MONTH THAT HIGHLIGHT THEIR CREATIVITY, SPOTLIGHT THE, THE AMAZING THINGS THAT THEY’RE DOING. AND SO WE CAME UP WITH THIS PROMOTION FOR MAY MAY MAKERS TO HIGHLIGHT ALL THE FUN THINGS THAT THEY’RE DOING, THE CRAFTING, THE ARTISANAL WORK. SO WE’VE GOT COFFEE SHOPS PUTTING ON SPECIALTY THEMED MENUS. WE’VE GOT SOME GUYS HERE FROM CREATING HER OWN LINE, WHICH IS INCREDIBLE. CUSTOM ORDERED. AND WE HAVE A FUN NEW HAT BAR IN DISTRICT AS WELL FOR THE CUSTOM COWBOY HATS AND BOOTS. IT’S AMAZING. NEVER THOUGHT HOW MUCH I MIGHT WANT TO GO INTO A HAT BAR. OKAY, NOW YOU GOT ME INTRIGUED. OKAY. VERY NICE. AND WE’VE SEEN THE BUSINESS PICKING UP. OBVIOUSLY NO STRANGER TO FOOT TRAFFIC THERE, BUT WHAT DOES A PROMOTION LIKE THIS BASICALLY HELP YOU DO? ESPECIALLY YOU WANT TO GET YOUR WORD OUT. EXACTLY. JUST THAT GETTING THE WORD OUT AND HAVE PEOPLE COME IN AND SEE ALL THE UNIQUE ITEMS THAT WE HAVE TO OFFER.
