FRESNO, Calif. — The Fresno Police Department is investigating a shooting in Central Fresno that sent one to the hospital on Friday night.
Police responded to a shooting near Harvey Avenue and Bond Street shortly before 11:00 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a 44-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is now recovering after undergoing surgery.
No suspects have been taken into custody.
Detectives were seen talking to neighbors as they piece together what led up to the shooting.
This is an ongoing investigation.
