The 2026 Encinitas Arts Alive banner collection Launch Party was held May 9 at the Encinitas Community Center. The event, which celebrates local art, featured 85 banners that will line Coast Highway 101 this summer, stretching from La Costa Avenue to Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Attendees had the opportunity to meet the artists and hear the stories behind their work. The event also include live music by @theredfoxtails, refreshments and snacks.
Encinitas Arts Alive is run by Art Can’t Hurt You – The Morgan Mallory Art Foundation, a Cardiff-by-the-Sea-based nonprofit. The event is also presented in partnership with the City of Encinitas Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department. For more information, visit https://www.artcanthurtyou.org/arts-alive-banners
