LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities on Thursday asked the public for help finding a 15-year-old boy who has been missing since July 4.

Tyler Williams was last seen at around 5 a.m. on July 4 in the 11700 block of Success Avenue, a neighborhood just south of Imperial Highway and Compton Avenue in the Willowbrook area of South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

He is known to frequent the area of 87th Street and Hooper Avenue in Florence-Graham, deputies said.

“He has voluntarily run away previously, and there is concern for his well-being,” deputies said.

Williams is a 5-foot-9 Black boy who weighs 120 pounds. He has brown eyes and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a gold rope chain and a gold bracelet.
